Leland Chew

Leland Chew, an L.A. native has over 27 years of Information Systems experience. Mr. Chew started at Hollywood Presbyterian in 1982 and stayed with QueensCare after the sale of the hospital. Over the years, Mr. Chew has held various titles including: Computer Operator, Supervisor Computer Operations, Technical Systems Programmer, Manager Information Systems, and his current position as Director of Information Systems.

At Hollywood Presbyterian, Mr. Chew acquired a heavy technical background and supported all of the computer operations for the 400+ bed hospital. At QueensCare and QueensCare Family Clinics, Mr. Chew assisted and played a crucial role in the organization’s Electronic Health Records endeavor. He is consistently writing analytical and statistical reports for the Administrative team at QueensCare. 

The biggest fulfillment and most rewarding aspect from working in the Information Systems industry and working with QueensCare is to be able to solve problems systematically, being involved in the many different departmental challenges in healthcare and to be able to help put some of the pieces together internally.
