QHFP Volunteer is Finalist for Award
QHFP’s Volunteer-of-the-Year Phyllis Maske, RN was selected by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Greater Los Angeles Chapter as a “Blue Ribbon Nominee” finalist for Outstanding Volunteer. Phyllis and the other finalists were honored at the association’s monthly luncheon on September 9. This award recognizes “exceptional voluntary spirit in providing service in caring for others over a sustained period of time”.
Phyllis has served on the Health Cabinet at First Presbyterian Church for over 15 years. She is also employed by QHFP as an event support nurse.
“Our QHFP volunteers are extraordinary people who are very generous with their time,” said Elizabeth Dixon, Director of QHFP. “This is the first time we have sought additional outside recognition for one of our volunteers and I’m glad we did.”
